Contact your pastor who will connect you with your sectional presbyter. They will provide a credential application request form.
Complete and return it, along with a copy of your transcripts, to the network office. (The network office can request a transcript from DSOM only.)
Once received, the network secretary will review them. Upon approval, an official application for credentials packet will be sent to you. This packet will include the application and the three supporting documents, two of which must be notarized.
When complete, return all documents along with a copy of your social security card and a check made payable to “West Florida District” in the amount of $100 to the network office. When received, the network will begin the background check and reference process.
Once process and approved, you will be contacted regarding a date/time for exams.
Upon passing the exams, a final interview will be scheduled with the network leadership. This usually happens during the sectional council tour in September.
